printable Pattern YOSD , Msd , SD ,  SD13boy  Shirt  Fits SD ,  SD13 BOY This is a basic shirt pattern witch was originally drafted for people new to sewing 3rd scale clothing, it was  drafted to have very forgiving seams and to make small parts easy to fit. ABJD shirt  Directions It is very important to fallow the directions in order. To make things like cuffs, sleeves and such easier to sew the order things are done in is different from that of full sized clothes.  Pattern The nightshirt and the PJ top are both the same pattern

Pattern

The nightshirt and the PJ top are booth the same pattern. The only difference being the way hem11 is cut. For the nightshirt cut PJ SHIRT FRONT, PJ SHIRT BACK and PJ SHIRT FACING with the long curve at the bottom of hem 11. For PJ top PJ SHIRT FRONT and PJ SHIRT BACK and PJ SHIRT FACING across the more striate hem 11 to form a shirt.

WITH right sides together Pen and sew PJ SHIRT FRONT to P J SHIRT BACK at seam 1 & 2.

With right sides together pen and sew PJ SHIRT COLLAR around top and sides at seam 3 leave seam 4 open. Turn right sides out and iron flat.

Start center back and pen PJ SHIRT COLLAR to PJ SHIRT FRONT and PJ SHIRT BACK at seam 4. Starting in the center helps line up the ends,

 

Stitch COLLAR to PJ SHIRT COLLAR and PJ SHIRT FRONT at seam 4

With right sides together, pen and sew PJ SHIRT FACING to PJSHIRT FRONT at seam 4 and seam 6. It is very important that the collar is between PJ SHIRT FACING to PJSHIRT FRONT. When sew

Carefully cut off the corner, were seam 4 meets seam 6. Do not cut the seam.

 Turn PJ SHIRT FACING to the inside and Iron PJ SHIRT FACING

Fold CUFF wrong sides together at crease line so that the two seam 10s line up.


Ironing cuff flat will help with the next step.

Pin CUFF to right side of SHIRT SLEEVE at seam 10 make sure all three seam 10s are aliened.

Stitch CUFF to right side of SHIRT SLEEVE At seam 10.

Fold CUFF out so that it lays flat

Iron seam allowance with the seam allowance pointed towage seam 7

Full size patters sleeves have a front and a back but for dolls we can get away with booth sides of the sleeve being the same cut.

With right sides together Pen and sew PJ SHIRT SLEEVE to PJ SHIRT FRONT and PJ SHIRT BACK. AT SEAM 7

With right sides together sew seam 5 from crease line of cuff all the way up the sleeve down the front back seam all the way down to hem 11.

Now is the time to test fit the shirt on the doll .If you would like the shirt to be tighter sew another seam 1/8th inch in from the one above (seam 5) be sure to do the same on each side. keep taking shirt up 1/8 inch at a time unto it is as tight as you like

Turn the shirt right sides out

Add buttons Velcro snaps or desired fastener
