Pattern long dress & open front dress  These two dresses are so close together  that one set of directions fit both . 1st be sure to cut the right parts . They are only two  parts different  but, it’s important to use the correct piece
Use a ¼ " seam. With rights together ,Sew BACK to SIDE at  seam 5 back. ..
Decorating the front center is Optional. If you are going to ad lace , straps , laces ect it’s a good idea to do so before moving on to the next step.
Now , with rights together ,sew FRONT  and SIDE together at seam 5 front .
You should now have 5 parts sewn together. With rights together  ,  sew interface  across the top of all 5 parts. Start at the middle and sew to the end, the interfacing  , the facing will stick out on both sides . ( This is done for new sewers who find it hard to line
Flip interfacing to  the  wrong (back side) of the dress. It's a good idea to iron or stictch it in
Sew Velcro strips  to the rights (printed side)  of  the back in  along  the back seam as shown
Sew back seam,  start at the bottom corner of the   Velcro  and sew to the bottom of the back seam.
The seam allowance is the cloth between  were your needle sews and the edge of the cloth. Stick the 2 pieces of Velcro together  and  Fold the back seam allowance flat  Velcro and all.  And sew only the bottom edge of  both pieces of Velcro  to the inside of the BACK
Now, you should have  one side of the BACK with the Velcro face up and  one on the side  side  that you folded over with the seam allowance with the Velcro facing down.   Open the slit in the back , and sew down the inside edge of the seam allowance . Now just hem the bottom along hem 11
