.

Lolita Headbands have become very popular at conventions. (in 2004) They are very easy to sew. Having only 3 parts for view A and view B is just a dresses up copy of view A. the fact that they’re so easy makes them a good first project for your doll.

The bow

Yow can buy pre tied bows that look nice for almost the same price as the ribbon you need to make them. so there is no real reason to make your own. Unless you want to, here are the directions just incase you want to.

Use the cutting guide to cut 2 strips of ribbon for the bows. Fold in half and stitch on place at seam B1 making a kind of fish shape.

ree

Pull the center front back to meet seam B1

ree

Cut a short strip of ribbon and stitch or glue it around the center of the bow.

ree

Hand stitch or glue bows to the narrow ends of LOLITA HEADBAND
